Topcon's 3D OCT-1000 Receives FDA Clearance

Topcon Medical Systems, Inc. (TMS), of Paramus, NJ, is pleased to announce that it has received FDA clearance for its 3D OCT-1000, the world’s first Fourier-domain OCT combined with a color non-mydriatic retinal camera.
This revolutionary product provides high-resolution cross sectional imaging of the retina, thereby aiding in the diagnosis and monitoring of a variety of pathologies, such as retinal detachments, macula holes, agerelated macular degeneration, and glaucoma. It features a true three-dimensional view of the mapped area and accurate Pin-Point™ retinal registration of the OCT image and the fundus image.
